LAP B-K Assessment Scoring by Age Band

While the LAP B-K Assessment does function as one platform for assessment from ages 0 months to 72 months, scoring is assessed in two different age bands.

The lower age band ranges from 0 to 36 months. As students age progresses toward the top end of this age band, we predict that their assessment scores will reflect this with a higher level of mastery of skills.

Upon reaching age 36 months, students will transition to the higher age band, ranging from 36 to 72 months. We expect that students at the lower end of this age band will show lower proficiency scores than students of greater chronological age.
